Chef Vicky was raised in Johannesburg (South Africa) and trained as a chef in the hospitality group Madame Zingara in Cape Town. She has worked as a chef as well as a manager in various restaurants across South Africa, before moving to Europe, where she worked in Germany, Spain and Switzerland. Vicky then returned to South Africa to work as the head chef of one of the best restaurants in Cape Town at the time.
Since returning to Switzerland, Vicky has been working in various bars where she enjoys the direct interactions with a very varied public. She loves hospitality and is especially passionate about South African cuisine.
