Ever since he was a little child, all Laz ever wanted to do, was to cook. He trained as a chef as well as a pâtissier in his hometown Thessaloniki, followed by stints in various luxury hotels in Santorini, Kreta as well as Mykonos. A winter season in the French Alps followed and in 2012, Laz moved to Zurich. He loves the rich culinary offers and the various cultures that peacefully live together in the "Limmat city": Laz is now the head chef of "Laz uns kochen", he shares his recipes on his popular food blog, writes cookbooks, owns a catering business and organizes unforgettable culinary events.
